Because every scrap has a story — and we know you’ve got questions.

About Us

We’re Khaarma and Pisces — partners in crime (well, business).

Lifelong artists, fabric hoarders, and lovers of the handmade. Gremlin Attic is the beginning of our dream: to become independent artists and build a community of crafters who value story, sustainability, and a little chaos.

What We Believe

  • We believe in second chances — for fabric, for people, for ideas.
  • We believe scraps have soul.
  • We believe that imperfection is part of the magic.
  • We believe in making things by hand, with heart, and with a little mischief.

What We Offer

  • - Reclaimed and upcycled fabric bundles
  • - Fat quarters, 5x5 squares, and scrap bags for quilters and makers
  • - Handmade plushie clothes and patterns
  • - A growing archive of magical, sustainable treasures

Why Gremlin Attic?

Because we love the weird stuff. The forgotten, the frayed, the fabric that has stories. Gremlin Attic is where scraps get a second life — stitched into quilts, collages, costumes, and chaos.

Gremlin Attic Fabric FAQ

1. Where does your fabric come from?

We source from all over — thrift shops, estate sales, textile archives, and the occasional mysterious bin. It’s a mix of reclaimed, recycled, and rescued materials, chosen for their charm and potential.

1a. What does reclaim mean?

Reclaim is all about giving leftover fabric from a project a fresh start. Whether you're quilting, crafting, or creating, we help you turn forgotten textiles into something new. Simple, sustainable, and always one-of-a-kind.

1b. What does recycle mean?

Recycle is all about upcycling cotton clothing, sheets, and used items. We take those once-loved textiles and give them new life, keeping sustainability at the heart of every cut. Thrifting meets creativity to turn yesterday’s scraps into tomorrow’s treasures.

2. Is your fabric prewashed?

We do our best to prewash everything before it reaches you. That means fewer surprises in the wash and a softer, more lived-in feel. If a bundle isn’t prewashed, we’ll let you know in the listing.

3. What types of fabric do you carry?

Mostly 100% cotton, but vintage fabric can also be polyester or a blend. We label everything clearly, but if you’re unsure, feel free to ask!

4. Are your cuts precise?

We cut by hand — with love and with human error. Expect charm, not perfection. Fat quarters, scrap sacks, and bundles may vary slightly in size, but we always aim for generous cuts.

5. Can I request specific colors or themes?

Sometimes! We offer themed bundles (like “Witch’s Wardrobe” or “Cozy Chaos”), and we’re happy to take requests when we can. Just drop us a note and we’ll see what the gremlins can dig up.

6. Do you offer bulk or wholesale?

We’re small-batch and scrappy, but we do offer bulk scrap sacks and larger bundles for makers and menders. Reach out if you’re planning a big project — we love a good quilt quest.

7. Is your fabric eco-friendly?

Yes! Everything we sell is reclaimed, recycled, or thrifted — giving new life to old textiles and keeping good stuff out of landfills. It’s sustainability with a little sparkle.

8. Can I return fabric?

Due to the nature of our materials, we don’t accept returns on fabric unless there’s a major issue. But if something’s off, let us know — we’re here to make it right.

Fabric Disclaimer

All of our fabrics are charming secondhand gems and hand-processed, so we can't always guarantee they're 100% cotton or pre-washed. We do give them a good once-over to keep any quirks and the occasional wonky edge in check, but a little character is part of the fun!
